Midnight Blue Gravel is a decorative gravel mainly used for bedding and borders. It has an attractive deep blue colour when dry that appears almost black when wet, and dark grey in dim light, giving it great character and charm. It’s one of the most interesting gravels and it is perfect for any outdoor space or garden.
The size of each stone is approximately 14mm which offers a softer appearance than 20mm gravel. At this size, it spreads better in smaller areas making it ideal for bedding and borders, water features, paths, patios and driveways.
Midnight Blue Gravel is also suitable as a potting topper and as a drainage surface in place of regular gravel. You can also use it around trees and on weed mats, to prevent weeds from growing through. The uses for this gravel are plentiful and the 14mm size means it spreads very evenly, giving areas a clean and consistent look.
The colour is slightly different to what you may imagine when you hear the words “Midnight Blue”, but this is part of the charm. The gravel is a deep blue granite, so you could say it looks grey, but on closer inspection it is indeed a blue-grey. When wet, it darkens to almost black with lighter stones in the mix giving it depth.
We recommend you use Midnight Blue Gravel as a decorative gravel, but you can also use it for paths and driveways. We sell it in bulk bags to maximise value.
