Lydd pebbles are ideal for outdoor drainage and bedding areas. They also make great ground cover to prevent weeds from growing through. You can use them on soil, hard ground, over weed mats and around trees to bring a natural appearance to your garden or site without breaking the bank to do it.
Lydd pebbles are multi-coloured with grey, brown, white and beige stones. The pebbles are natural, so they are earthy and fit in with nature. The approximate size per pebble is 20mm with a tolerance of 5mm. They stay put better than smaller pebbles if disturbed and are less prone to sinking into the ground over time.
Lydd is also known as Lydd pearl, which is a coastal flint gravel. The mix of grey, brown, white and beige stones is neutral with no colour dominance. The pebbles are formed over time as water runs over rock. The semi-rounded appearance is created by crushing the rock into smaller fragments to create smaller pebbles.
The spread of these pebbles is excellent, and the larger size also means one bag goes a long way. You can use multiple bags to cover large areas quickly. Gardens and driveways are good candidates for these pebbles, but a lot of people use them in drainage areas. You can use them as a general use pebble around your home.
You can buy Lydd Pebbles from PPC Aggregates in bulk bags to maximise value. We love the way they look and we’re sure you will too.
